Webinar To Examine Bullying and Suicide Prevention
On Thursday, February 2, 2012, at 3 p.m. E.T., the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) will host the webinar, “Bullying and Suicide Prevention.”
Many schools and communities struggle to find effective ways to prevent both bullying and suicidal behavior among youth. This webinar will provide the latest research and science on the relationship between bullying and suicide and will outline some of the shared risk and protective factors. The webinar will also discuss the main principles of a comprehensive whole school approach to bullying prevention. This presentation will be interactive, with opportunities to ask questions.

Meet with a private attorney for FREE for 30 minutes. The attorney will review your particular situation and will advise you about which action to file and which forms to use in Cobb Probate Court.

The Clinic serves individuals on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to bring any relevant documents or information with you to the Clinic. Our attorneys advise about decedent’s estate cases only.

Our attorneys do not advise on minor or adult guardianships, mental health cases, marriage or firearms licenses, or any case not involving Cobb Probate Court. Our attorneys cannot represent you in court for free. You may hire the attorney you meet or you may call the Cobb Bar Lawyer Referral Line at (770) 424-2947.

All nonprofit organizations with 501c3 designation and serving Cobb County residents are invited to attend a meeting on February 23 from 9am-12pm or February 27 from 1pm-4pm.

for a presentation on the availability of funds from Cobb County Non-Profit Grant for Fiscal Year 2013/2014. An overview of the funding process including criteria for receiving a grant and instructions on completing the application will be given at this time. Attendance at this meeting is optional but highly encouraged. Applications will be available in electronic format on the Cobb Community Collaborative website after the scheduled RFP sessions: http://www.cobbcollaborative.org

The meetings will be held at The Mansour Center, 995 Roswell St., Marietta, Ga. 30060. Members of the Cobb Community Collaborative and Cobb County Finance Department will be present to answer questions regarding the application and review process.
