BUSINESS ADVISORY COUNCIL
MISSION
The mission of The Business Advisory Council shall be to foster interaction and communication between the Cobb County business community and the non-profit membership of The Cobb Community Collaborative to create a more efficient exchange of resources to the mutual benefit of the business and non-profit communities.
GOAL
Publish an annual directory of the wish lists of each of the non-profit members of the Cobb Community Collaborative to the business community.
PURPOSE
- Streamline the allocation of money, goods and services from businesses to non-profits;
- Provide non-profits a mechanism to interact with business community;
- Enable businesses to form “partnerships” with non-profits;
- Foster and help establish mentoring programs, job services and workforce development;
- Increase awareness of services that non-profits can provide to the business community;
HOW WILL THIS BE ACCOMPLISHED
Raising Help is a portal to connect nonprofit organizations with businesses that can provide a helping hand to those in need. It is “A hand out, and a hand up”
The Business Advisory Council website of the Cobb Community Collaborative will be a quick way for nonprofits to promote and request things your organization needs and a way for businesses to make a difference by helping a nonprofit.
