education council

The students of Cobb County schools benefit from the support of the county’s non-profit organizations working in collaboration with the county’s school districts. To better serve our students, the Cobb Collaborative Education Council formed to support parents and students in developing students’ social skills and knowledge in order to improve student performance.

CCEC is composed of members from the Cobb County non-profit organizations, the Marietta City School District, and the Cobb County School District. Through the Council, non-profit organizations and local schools coordinate resources to support school improvement initiatives. Non-profit organizations provide needed information about services and support for students, and through the Collaborative, assist our schools.
