Girls Leadership and Empowerment
This leadership and empowerment program consists of eight sessions geared toward 4th and 5th grade girls. The program seeks to give girls the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for successful navigation through the middle school years, and covers topics such as healthy friendships, puberty, hygiene, assertiveness, peer pressure situations, stress management, values, bullying and leadership. The goal of this program is for participants to gain the skills and confidence needed make smart decisions and create a network of support.

The mission of Girls Inc. is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold. For over thirty years, Girls Inc. has been serving girls, ages 6-18, in Cobb County with informal education, life skills programming, and recreational opportunities through after-school and summer camp programs, as well as through outreach programs taken to schools, churches, youth agencies and recreational facilities.
