Taking Care of Business

Taking Care of Business is designed to help girls ages 15-18 years old realize how the decisions they make now can affect their future dreams and plans. The program walks girls through what they envision for themselves in ten years, the consequences and responsibility it takes to be sexually active, and how being sexually active can derail their future aspirations. Girls are given opportunities to practice refusal skills with peers and significant others. Girls complete the program educated about STDs, relationships, and peer pressure situations, and capable of making healthy lifestyle decisions.
