Program Title: 1-800-CHILDREN Helpline
Program Description: HELPLINE serves callers from the State of Georgia providing information, support and linkages to community resources. Callers are able to consult and problem solve in a safe, confidential manner. If requested, callers can also receive follow-up HELPLINE support. Expected outcomes are linkages to community resources and information and support that will result in more stability for families. Through the youth outreach strategy, "Need to Talk?", youth who call the Helpline receive assistance with life skills and problem solving as well as a supportive environment to discuss difficult issues.
