Membership
The concept of a community collaborative is as simple as it is innovative. Begin with the goal of providing the highest level of service to our community, and provide a mechanism to work together to address the gaps, and the value of collaboration is easy to see. The work of collaboration is challenging to all that come to the table. To provide the highest level of service possible requires collaboration between nonprofit service providers, government entities, businesses, faith community, and citizens.
This is YOUR collaborative and we are only as strong as our members!
Membership in the Cobb Community Collaborative provides opportunities for your agency to:
- Network with other service organizations in Cobb County.
- Have a link on our Website.
- Have your events posted on our Website,
- Email Blasts to CCC member/community database reaching hundreds in the community.
- Attend free and/or low-cost trainings.
- Participate in the Cobb County Human Services Grant Review and Fund Allocation Processes, which are managed by the Cobb Community Collaborative in partnership with the Cobb County Commissioners, and;
- Participate in countywide strategic planning on issues that affect our community through our numerous councils and committees.

- Participate in the Membership Committee:
The Membership Committee serves numerous purposes:
- To continually build a broad and diverse membership within the Collaborative by building relationships and establishing community partners;
- To continually enhance the benefits of Collaborative membership by surveying, reviewing, and responding to membership feedback;
- To plan, organize and coordinate the “Agencies Building Capacities” Training Series; and,
- To plan, organize and coordinate membership socials and networking events.
