Chairperson: Brian Goebel (bgoebel@unitedwayatlanta.org)The Planning & Evaluation Committee is responsible for:
- Planning, organizing, and coordinating the Cobb County Nonprofit Grant process;
- Providing oversight on the County Needs Assessment Process; and,
- Assisting in evaluation of Collaborative operations.

Grant Review Process
The FY2007-2008 Cobb County Non-Profit Grant Review Process is currently underway.
Timeline:

January 2006 - Grant application released on the 31st at RFP Training - NOTE: You must have attended this mandatory training in order to complete a grant application.

February 2006 - Recruit Peer Review Team Members (Volunteer Interest Form)

March 2006 - Recruit Peer Review Team Members

April 2006 - Cobb County Nonprofit Grant Application DEADLINE - 12pm on April 4th Peer Review Teams will be trained in April. Application reviews and site visits will begin in April

May 2006 - Finish reviewing applicants and conducting site visits. Scores will be reviewed by Peer Evaluation Committee (PEC).

June 2006 - CCC Executive Committee will review PEC recommendations on funding. CCC Members will vote on recommendations. Final recommendations will be presented to the Cobb County Commission Chairman.

September 2006 - Applicants will be notified regarding grant awards

October 2006 - Grant funding cycle begins. Grant contracts mailed.
