Discovering GCAPP’s Parent Toolkit – Better Adolescent Health
March 9 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
The Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power and Potential created an innovative Parent Toolkit in 2020 to help parents and caregivers. The Toolkit provides practical information to help parents navigate topics and situations that all families face, including ones that are hard to talk about. Open, honest parent-child communication is critical in helping children prepare for social challenges they are likely to encounter. We hear from parents frequently that they feel unprepared to discuss certain topics with their children. GCAPP is here to help!
Join Dion Walker-Smith, Director of Community Based Initiatives for GCAPP, for an introduction to the Toolkit and how you can use it to foster open and caring conversations with your child.
