Join Matt Svensson, founder of We Defend Charities and Cobb Collaborative member, as he leads us in a conversation on how nonprofits can protect their IT systems and data. He will walk us through real-world examples he has seen at work and at home that try to:
– Trick you: How to spot it and how to respond. The mitigation is around processes not technology.
– Get into your accounts: How to store/manage passwords. How to protect your accounts. How to know when your accounts are at risk.
– Take your data: How it can occur, what the impact is if it happens, and free tools, e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
