Cobb Collaborative Impact Reports

Cobb Collaborative Community

The MISSION of Cobb Collaborative is "Engaging, Educating and Empowering the community to improve the well-being of children and families." Improving the lives of everyone in a community is a daunting and complex challenge. That’s why the Cobb Collaborative focuses on three specific areas for the widest impact: mental health, literacy and civic engagement. By empowering local organizations and citizens in these key initiatives, we’re able to help create leverage toward better outcomes for kids and families. That’s what we’ve been doing for more than 30 years all across Cobb County. We know that we’re stronger together and we hope to be the bridge that connects our collective efforts.

2023 marked my fifth year as the Executive Director of the Cobb Collaborative, which seems a perfect opportunity for a little bit of celebration, a few moments of reflection and a whole lot of strategizing about the next five years. With the support, encouragement, and guidance of many stakeholders – former and current board members and staff, funders, volunteers and our many partners – we have been able to define, develop and refine our priorities. The most important part of this growth is that it has allowed us to deliver more robust programming to
Cobb County.

As you read this Impact Report and see our numbers, keep in mind that our work is also ultimately about people. Our neighbors. Our children. Our friends. Our community. Which is why we have even bigger plans for 2024 and beyond.

Let’s celebrate. Let’s reflect. And then, let’s get to work!
