Kaitlyn Ball

Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships

Born and raised in Kennesaw, Georgia, Kaitlyn is no stranger to the diverse and flourishing communities of Cobb County. Kaitlyn joined the Collaborative in 2021 as a Vote Your Voice intern, bringing nonpartisan voter education and registration efforts to underserved communities in Cobb. After learning the ins and outs of what makes the Cobb Collaborative tick, she quickly moved from intern to Program Coordinator to Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University, a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and previous experience in human resources and organizational development, she aims to use her knowledge to cultivate intentional partnerships to strengthen the communities right here in Cobb. Her education and background developed her skills as a social justice practitioner, giving her the insight to strategically focus on initiatives that advance support for our communities with a lens of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Outside of serving her community, you can find Kaitlyn spending time outdoors with her partner and their dog, relaxing with some yoga, trying a new hobby, and listening to her favorite podcasts on NPR.
