Mommy & Me Wellness Resources

There is a strong link between a mother’s well-being and her baby’s development. As part of The Basics Mommy & Me Initiative, Cobb Collaborative is increasing support to pregnant women and moms with infants through education, community engagement, and strategic partnerships.

We seek to improve maternal and infant health outcomes in Cobb County by increasing access to prenatal, postnatal, and early childhood development resources.

The Basics Cobb County

Behavioral Health Meetings 2026 (1)
The Basics Cobb County is Cobb Collaborative's Birth-Kindergarten programming that aims to provide fun, simple, and powerful strategies
to help every child reach their full potential.  Our Vision is a Cobb where all infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are on track to achieve their full potential–having benefited from early experiences that foster healthy brain development, learning, joy, and resilience.
Our Playground Paloozas offer a hands-on, engaging approach and encourage connection and healthy attachment between caregivers and their children. We offer these within various time frames or formats depending on organization preference and need.
They can be hosted in a variety of settings including childcare facilities, libraries, bookstores, etc.  All families can benefit from these insightful and engaging training opportunities.

The Basics Mommy & Me Initiative is funded by the Elevance Health Foundation.
