House ATL Q3 Member Convening

HouseATL will be in Cobb County for our third quarter Member Convening, with sponsorship from Georgia Power.  We will be welcomed by Chairwoman Lisa Cupid.

A panel of Cobb County developers, moderated by Kristin Allin of the Atlanta Regional Commission, will discuss the opportunities and obstacles to increasing the affordable housing supply:
– Kyle Huhtanen, Executive Director, Habitat for Humanity NWMA
– Adam Brock, Executive Vice President, Brock Built Homes
– Russell Smith, Director of Development, Walton Communities.

This convening will also feature a panel on energy efficiency improvements led by the new Sustainable and Resilient Housing Working Group.  Panelists include: Dr. William Bryan, Director of Research at Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance and Dr. Michelle Marcus, Senior Research Associate at Georgia Health Policy Center.  There will also be an annual business meeting officiated by HouseATL’s Board Co-Chair, Alan Ferguson, where HouseATL members will participate in a vote on Bylaws amendments.
