PCA Cobb Strategy Team Meeting

As the lead council in Cobb County for Positive Childhood Alliance (PCA) Georgia, Cobb Collaborative hosts quarterly  PCA Cobb Strategy Team Meetings. These meetings bring together local leaders, agencies, stakeholders, and nonprofit organizations who serve children and families in Cobb County and across the state to collaborate on strategies that strengthen families while preventing child abuse and neglect. 

Together, we use a collective impact framework to strategize on the implementation of Georgia’s Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Plan (CANPP). From the direct service providers who share resources with families, to the local policymakers who advocate for prevention, PCA Cobb Strategy Teams are a place for us to drive awareness, share best practices, uplift local services and protective factors, and gain insight on how to implement effective programs that support families in our community. 

During this meeting, we will hear from the Cobb County CASA. Cobb County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a court-based program of the Juvenile Court of Cobb County. It was created to provide a voice to speak for the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in dependency proceedings.

Who is this event for: Meetings are open to any organization, agency, or individual who serve children and families in Cobb County and across the state of Georgia, and who are interested in collaborating on strategies that strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect.
