Free Literacy Workshop
Join us for an interactive Read with Kelley workshop where you will learn how to help a child from birth to 5th grade and beyond… “Get Reading”!
Birth-4: You will practice building vocabulary and language skills easily through everyday activities. We’ll also play rhyming games that will help make learning phonics easier when they get to school.
K-1st: We’ll practice coaching children through the process of becoming phonics wizzes. You’ll learn some tips to make it easier for both you and the child(ren) in your care!
2-5th: The magic begins as you help this child and others move from slowly sounding out each word to reading with speed, accuracy and expression. You’ll learn a simple technique that will speed up the process and avoid a lot of frustration… for both of you!
