Strengthening Families – Tuesday Talks at the Cafe

You’re invited to connect with other parents during Strengthening Families Georgia’s virtual Parent Cafés. These Parent Cafés are an opportunity for parents to come together to talk, to listen, and to support each other through stressors, worries and challenges that many have struggled with alone.

This series will focus on Five Protective Factors all families can use to build support, networking, and friendships with other parents in a virtual community.

To join you must be a parent or caregiver in Georgia, be able to attend all or most of the 5 sessions, and want to interact with other caregivers!

Schedule:
Each Tuesday in June, sessions will be held virtually from 5:00 to 6:30 pm on Zoom.

June 2 – Social Connections – Parents need friends
June 9 – Concrete Support in Times of Need – Parents know where to turn for help
June 16 – Knowledge of Child Development – Parents know how kids learn and grow
June 23 – Social-Emotional Competence – Children learn how to handle feelings
