Resiliency Week | Mind Your Mind | Growing Resilience in Cobb

Cobb Collaborative would like to invite you to join us for Resiliency Week which will be held February 5-9, 2024. This full week of activities will be focused on growing a more resilient Cobb County. Advocates will have multiple opportunities to share best practices and help to build a more trauma-informed and resilient Cobb community.

Monday, February 5, 2024  | Partner Appreciation Breakfast

Kick off the week with connection! Join us in celebrating the relationships and engagement that we share through our incredible partnerships. Enjoy some coffee and breakfast bites with one another, and leave with more than just a heart and belly full.

Tuesday, February 6, 2024 | Resilient Cobb Summit

Dive into the framework of HOPE (healthy outcomes from positive experiences) with our keynote speaker, Dr. Stan Sonu, as we explore how to build more trauma-responsive and resiliency-focused communities in Cobb. This half-day summit will include a panel discussion and an opportunity for collaboration.

Wednesday, February 7, 2024 | Basics + Paint Love Workshopand Nature Wellness Walk with CRM

We have two excellent opportunities available to you on Wednesday! Take your pick of the one that best suits your interests.

Find resilience in your environment with a Nature Wellness Walk coupled with a guided discussion using the Community Resiliency Model (CRM)®.

Or bring your little ones out to a special Basics workshop with our friends at Paint Love, focusing on Maximizing Love and Managing Stress.

Thursday, February 8, 2024 | Resiliency Dinner

Dine with discussions at our Resiliency Dinner! Bring your friends and family for a “Community Cafe” style dinner, highlighting our collective strengths and resilience.

Friday, February 9, 2024 | Resiliency Retreat

Restore your resilience at our Resiliency Retreat! A full day of relaxation and skill-building to add to your self-care routine. Practice the mindfulness of yoga, enjoy the sensation of a sound bath, let your thoughts flow with a journaling workshop, and more!

To easily fit into your schedule, we have created a Morning Session (9 AM-1:30PM) and an Afternoon Session (12:30 PM-4:00PM) for you to register. We encourage to attend what best fits your day.
